With the NFL draft approaching next week, the draft scene is starting to shape up to be one of the most exciting in the past few years. There are hundreds of mock drafts out there with crazy scenarios of what may or may not happen, who will or will not trade up, who will or will not be picked, and so much more. Considering things stay the same, which they never do in the NFL, here is a Top-10 Mock Draft:

Pick No. 1: Caleb Williams- Chicago Bears

It’s time for a new era in Chicago. With the addition of offensive weapons like Keenan Allen, any QB coming to Chicago will come into a pretty good situation. Williams is by far not the perfect prospect, there are concerns about his personality, as well as gameplay given his performance this past season. However, the overall poise and skill Wiliams showed at USC is exactly what Chicago needs.

Pick No. 2: Jayden Daniels- Washington Commanders

The new regime from the owner to the general manager to the head coach of the Commanders are looking for someone to command the team. Nobody is better suited to do that for Washington than Jayden Daniels. The heisman winner has had his draft stock shoot up over the past season, rightfully so. The Commanders may not have all the pieces on offense to allow Daniels to ball out immediately, but he will be a dangerous QB in the near future. The signing of Marcus Mariota provides Daniels the perfect mentor as he and the Commanders enter a new era.

Pick No. 3: Drake Maye- New England Patriots

It’s a completely new era in Foxborough. For the first time in over 20 years, neither Tom Brady or Bill Belichik will take the field at Gillette Stadium. With the Mac Jones era gone before it was able to even begin, it is time for a new generation to please the rowdy Bostonian fans. Maye is not the best QB in this draft, but he has proven experience and a high ceiling to be a great QB in the NFL.

PIck No. 4: Marvin Harrison Jr. - Arizona Cardinals

There is not much that needs to be said here. The son of a legendary Wide Receiver (WR), Harrison Jr. is out to set his own legacy. The Cardinals have been looking for their star WR, and there is nobody better than Harrison Jr to fulfill that role.

Pick No. 5:  Malik Nabers - Los Angeles Chargers

Justin Herbert needs someone to throw too, and as it stands right now, his options are very limited. Malik Nabers is a playmaker who can make an immediate impact on the Chargers offense.

Pick No. 6: Rome Odunze - New York Giants

Daniel Jones is under a massive contract, and although he has yet to prove he is a franchise QB, it can be argued he hasn’t been given the right pieces to be able to prove himself. Odunze is the perfect piece to compliment a young, speedy Giants’ WR core. (No J.J McCarthy will not be taken here)

Pick No. 7: Joe Alt - Tennessee Titans

Will Levis has shown he can be a viable QB in the NFL, but without protection he will not be able to move the ball. Joe Alt is considered one of the most valuable players in this draft. He has shown throughout his collegiate career he is a proven project. Now in Tennessee he will be protecting Levis, while also providing protection for second year running back Tyjae Spears.

Pick No. 8: Dallas Turner- Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons have done more than enough to improve their offense this past free agency. It’s time for the Falcons to switch over to helping the defense, and there is nobody better to do that than the beast that is Dallas Turner. Turner will be terrorizing AFC South QBs for years to come.

Pick No. 9: Laiatu Latu- Chicago Bears EDGE

Now that the offense has been addressed, the Bears need to provide some young blood for their defense. Latu will be the perfect complement to Montez Sweat, and add further depth to what could be a dangerous D-line for Chicago.

Pick No. 10: Brock Bowers- New York Jets

The Jets are all in this season, with Aaron Rodgers returning back at the helm. Rodgers will need as many weapons as he can get, and Bowers is an easy pick at No. 10. Bowers can help block and provide protection for the Jets, but also act as a slot receiver for Rodger’s to chuck Hail Mary’s to.
